Your Path to Joseph's House:
Tell us more about yourself so we can point you in the right direction.
I am a homeless young man.
I would like more information.
I would like to volunteer.
I would like to give.
Benita Neal, Chairperson
I joined the Joseph's House board because I wanted to be instrumental in helping homeless young adults to connect and to become all that they can be. It's important that every individual have access to available resources and my goal is to give them a "hand up" not a "hand out" and to send the alarm to our community that homelessness exists and that it is the responsibility of every citizen to help eradicate homelessness.
Dr. Rev. Tina Mosby
I joined the board to lend spiritual, financial and personal support to this great program designed to uplift, rejuvenate, encourage and educate our young men in the commitment to take their rightful place as leaders of tomorrow.
Ed Cobbler
I have always worked with young people through law enforcement and my church. My passion is helping people who have needs and mentoring them through Christ and business. I want to see many pastors and churches support this ministry through finances.

My six year involvement with Joseph's House began when Nancy McLean applied for a grant with the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, where I served in the grants committee. I have watched Joseph's House as the program and staff and young men have developed something very special. I am more certain than ever that our community needs Joseph's House and its services for our young people.
Michael F. Troutman
Homelessness in a country as rich and affluent as the United States is appalling and borders on criminal. I believe (Mark 9:23) in the mission and work of Joseph's House. I believe that God gives each of us a ministry in life part of which is to help others. My position on this board is nothing short of ministry work.
Carolyn K. Huff
I am a person who in life has faced and has overcome many challenges. My gift is compassion for others the love of God was instilled long before I established a relationship with the Lord. Out of love and gratitude for life and being alive I believe in giving back any way I can. I can relate to being homeless among other dysfunction. To God be the Glory for restoration.
Tee Nichole Faulkner
Joseph's House provides a needed service to improve the critical condition of homelessness among our young adults. I believe all people deserve the chance to live a life of autonomy and dignity. The mission of Joseph's House is to care for, respect, and guide young adults to a safe and better lifestyle, this is a worthy service.
Susie Kelly
My grandmother instilled the values of service in my life at an early age. As a young girl of eight, we volunteered together at The Salvation Army in the thrift store and at the red kettles during Christmas. We also visited nursing homes delivering goody bags and taking time to talk with the residents. I spent nearly twenty years as a restaurant manager and since 1998; I have been involved in the various aspects of operating our family owned business, Awards of Excellence. Rotary in Greensboro has been a big part of my life since 2005 and this involvement brought me to Joseph's House. I will combine my skills as a small business owner with the Rotary ideal, Service Above Self to help Joseph's House fill a need within our community.
